I can unlock any GSM on the market. That means it can be used on any GSM
network with an active SIM card. Which means I have the ability to use ANY
phone on the market with the cellular service I have. I don't have to "wait"
for a phone to come out or envy another companies hardware or phones. All I
have to do is unlock the phone, stick my SIM card in and there I go....a
working cellular phone on the same network. I have access to use a good 100
phones on the market today....and the people that are on Verizon's network
do not have this ability whatsoever. They are stuck with the most terrible
phone line-up of all. They are stuck with one and only one Bluetooth capable
phone that's buggy as hell and has crippled functions already. Come on
people....try Cingular!

Yahuh.

Verizon doesn't lock their postpay phones, so this is an irrelevant point. Your
locking issue is only an issue with carriers that do lock their phones.

No way in hell will I do business with SBC. They have screwed me royally, or
attempted to, anyhow, when I was a landline/DSL customer. (fortunately they got
spanked hard by the Ohio PUC and were forced to credit the couple hundred
dollars they'd billed me for service I wasn't receiving)

Cingular may be a decent carrier, but they're owned by SBC and therefore will
never get a cent of my money.
