photo download phone to pc

I have a Samsung Galaxy Y,when i plug it into my cp. there is nothing showing ,I
go to my computer and the same thing there.it is as though it doesn't recognise the phone.i would like to download photo's but I am stuck.can anyone help.

You need to install the drivers for the phone.

What operating system are you using on your PC?

This is a link to the drivers. Download and install, reboot the PC, then connect your phone.

thanks to you all I have cracked it I downloaded Samsung Kies .and played about with it for a while and figured it out.
now I have downloaded photos' from my phone into my pictures. On my pc . once again thanks for you patience.
