Is there some way to upload a "specific" pic onto a phone from a computer? I've
tried accessing yahoo on my phone to get briefcase stuff. Is it possible to
open a picture using the URL? Then saving it in picture wallet?

You can, via certain software offered through futuredial.com (Snap Media) or
susteen.com (Data Pilot). You need to see whether they support your phone
model. Both of these software products cost you some money. There is a free
beta software, Bitpim, but they only support a few phone models for syncing
pictures & ringers.

Or you can try one of the following sites -

Third party software like SnapMedia and Datapilot allow for that. Check
that they support your model phone before you buy such.

You've already been provided some good ideas. There's another.
Yahoo Pictures. The service is free from Yahoo, and then there's an
application you can purchase for your phone to access it.
