Pinhole reset problem

My laptop freeze. I did the pinhole reset because that was the remedy that I'm doing with my previous laptop. After doing it with my new acer laptop core i5 7th generation, I inserted a pin in the pinhole,(I did not feel the bounce that I feel when I do it in my previous acer laptop). When I tried to turn it on, it is bot working. It will only work when I put the charger. How am I going to fix it? please help me
