Pioneer High End Receiver

I have a Pioneer High End receiver model# SC-99, My speakers are Paradigm Studio Series 4.0 feet tall, my subwoofer is also Paradigm 15". My speaker wires are 10 gauge. But I'm having the same problem with the power shutting off particularly at a -18db volume, slightly loud. How should I fix this problem?

Check all your wires for shorts etc. If all is good....start running with only one speaker hooked up at a time and see what happens. You may have a shorted speaker. You can also check the speakers with a multimeter.
