Plasma TV screen damaged

My 51 Samsung was hit by a friend of my daughter. The impact point is in the bottom left of the screen. A spider crack appeared and now the bottom quarter of the plasma screen looks like a series of diagonal lines resembling a bar code. It is beneath any displays I call up and is on all input selections.

My question is can this be repaired by changing the correct y card or is this screen unrepairable. Any help would be appreciated.

The screen itself is damaged and will need to be replaced. It will probably be cheaper to just buy a new TV

You need a new TV.

Personally, since I'm a bastard I'd get the Friend to help pay for it.
