Please help me find a gaming capable laptop that isn't a hideous glowing red nightmare.

I'm trying to find a needle in a haystack. A laptop capable of running games, that DOESN'T have a red backlit keyboard, aggressive red accents, racing stripes, front and rear spoilers, flashy LEDs, or look like a damn spaceship. I really want to stress that it NOT have a red keyboard.

I would actually buy the Acer laptop in the below link right now, but am not knowledgeable enough to know whether or not it's a ripoff at it's $999 price-tag:

Is there such a thing as a non-hideous gaming laptop?

1. $1500

2. I want a standard 15.6 inch screen. I also want to keep the weight well under 7 pounds.

3. 1080 screen resolution

4. Desktop replacement

5. Anywhere between 3-5 hour battery life

6. It should be able to play games with similar graphic quality to Neir Automata, DooM, and Witcher III, in high settings. More importantly, It should be able to at least run demanding 2D and 3D indie games with relative smoothness for several years to come.

7. It should be able to run Adobe software such as Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver etc.

8. It should have at least a 128gb SSD, and a 1TB or larger HDD.

9. ---

10. I plan to keep my laptop for at least 5 years, until it either disintegrates or melts into a plastic puddle

11. I don't need an optical drive. I'll buy a portable drive If I REALLY need it for some reason

12.
-I don't trust Lenovo too much, due to hinge trouble and faulty keyboard problems in the past.
-I'm a bit wary of Asus, because I am replacing a 3 year old ASUS with a lot of irritating quirks.
-I want to avoid Alienware due to extreme thickness, and spaceship style designs.

13. I live in the US

For the price you have shown for that Asus laptop, you can get a MUCH better Acer Predator laptop. However, it has the accents and all:
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-i7-7700HQ-1060-6GB-G3-571-77QK/dp/B06Y4GZS9C/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1514484491&sr=1-4&keywords=gaming+laptops

If you do not like it, here are some others:
https://www.amazon.com/HP-Omen-17-W253DX-Gaming-Notebook/dp/B072F7NGDK/ref=sr_1_16?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1514484491&sr=1-16&keywords=gaming+laptops - This laptop has a red keyboard where the lights can be disabled. It has much better specs at $100 cheaper than what is in your link.

This laptop has no accents or anything but has a 512GB SSD, but no 1 TB HDD. It has pretty good specs and is usually seen as a desktop replacement, but is $100 over budget.
