PLEASE. HELP

Alright, here goes hoping SOMEONE can give me some tips.

In a nutshell, to my understanding I've paid £111 for a headset that has a garbage mic - but here is a tad more detail;

So, bought a razer megalodon - it's good, 7.1 surround sound it's all good. So i'm gaming it up today, having a ball you know then timmy from work rings on skype and STATIC hits him hard. So naturally, I searched the web, found out how to solve the static. YEY! Problem #1 solved.

Ok now here is the REAL problem. So problem #2, friends,like timmy can hear my game volume/music volume, whatever! it totally blows and I think I've tried everything in the 'how to fix a razer megalodon that has a crappy mic' handbook. You name it;

.Adjusted the mic sens and mic level to 0
.Mic boost to 15
. Firmware update
...That's about it but if ANYONE can give me a suggestion I would appreciate it BIG TIME.

The mic needs to be voice activated. (VOX)
This means that it shuts off when you are not talking.
Check the audio software settings.

Op you manage to fix this? Having the same problem been using my webcam as a mic for the past month or two ive had the megaloshits
