Hello, i have a dell vostro 1700, i have recently re-installed windows vista home premium 32 bit, but now my built in microphone isn't working (it did before), it's not even showing up on audio devices, also I have installed all updates and drivers but still no look. please help

You DID reinstall all the drivers from Dell support AFTER you reinstalled Vista of course ?
