Plug in turntable

Hello,
How do I plug in a turntable to a vsx-d511 receiver? No phono inputs.

You will need a phono preamp.

The preamp does two things. It increases the low level output ( 2- 5 mv) of the magnetic cartridge on the tonearm to around 1 volt. And it provides equalization to compensate for the frequency characteristics of the cartridge.

Google "phono preamp". Prices range from about $20 and up, way up.
