Plugged in not charging dell inspiron 6400

Hello,
My laptop Battery is not charging. in Bios set up it says that ac adapter drivers are not installed. I tried to update my bios set up. but it can't be done because battery must be charged over 10%. if someone can please help me.

Re-Install adapter driver and check again, if battery is not charging then install all laptop drivers.

THE ONLY ADVICE ALL YOU DUMB NEED IS:

REPLACE YOUR CHARGER OR POWER ADAPTER CAUSE ITS NOT CHARGING YOUR BATTERY

because your battery is faulty that's why it can't recognised it.
