Pointer frozen in the center of screen windows 7

Hello trinaannlane;

Try a system restore back to a date when the mouse was working correctly.

Open the Start Menu and type in System Restore in the search option.

Check to see if your laptop has any options to 'lock the trackpad' like you would if you were using an external mouse.

Thank you so much!! I was freaking out because I couldnt get my mouse to work and this fixed it! Thank you again :)

Thank you soooo much for finding the solution to your problem with you mouse!!! I have (had) the same exact problem, and I tried the Fn + F7 on my computer and it worked!!! I've searched for an answer to this problem for several months! thank you so much!
