this is so simple. why doesnt the kid report the xbox stolen by the police. then the seriel number matches the one they have. then everybody wins. the cops look good cause they can say it was reported stolen. and the kid gets it back. i love to see the police report on that. the thief description would be grand.

I just have to comment on this cause I actually live in Orange County, Florida. For those of you who do not, if you ever come through this way DO NOT trust the Sheriffs office or OPD (Orlando Police Department). I was born and raised in central Florida and have seen both agency's become more and more "corrupt" (corrupt may not be the correct term but if you read this story you know what I mean). This is nothing compared to what they can get away with. Even when caught on tape doing a lot more than this the most they tend to get is a paid suspension. Just for the record, no I have no criminal record.

LOL, Canada is hardly better for these fools who abuse their powers. The police in north america are nothing but the gouvernments hench men, as time has gone by, and personal experiences have occured, I have literally lost ALL respect for ANY type of bloody authority in north america. Harassing you for going through a yellow, harassing you for "biking suspiciously fast", pulling you over for "driving suspiciously legally" WTF?, harassing and searching you for hanging out in a park, walking home drunk from a bar (innocently), being accused of something without proof but none the less harassed and so on.

Hell some cops here are so worthless, my friend owned a bicycle shop and had his bike stolen cause he left it there when he was closed. Norco Atomic 2002 frame with custom built 24" wheels on a 26" wheele frame, custom built entirely. He took pictures of it to sell it on ebay, all the good parts, and the dents, everything. We find the guy 2 weeks later with it, all he did was paint it flat black, change the seat and he grinded the serial number off. It's the law in our city (Montreal) to have a serial number engraved in the bicycle, if there isn't any, the cops are legally suppose to confiscate it. According to those morons, the pictures, and 99% matching description wasn't enough proof for them, so we told them this little law. Biatch puts her hand on her gun, tales 2 steps towards me and says "Oh yeah? Under what article?"

So yeah, lost all respect for these henchmen, and he never got the bike back. I told him we shoulda just kicked him off and take it but aww well =D

I've had a few bad experiences with cops here in Canada, though not since I was 20 or so. It seems like cops just live to fuck with teenagers. I was once pulled over on Halloween while I was walking home from work because I was wearing a backpack. That was enough suspicion for them to search me and confiscate my multitool because it had a knife on it. So is it illegal to carry a small pocketknife (maybe 3") now?
