Solved! Possibility of upgrading SSD in MacBook Air 2017

I planned to purchase a MacBook Air 2017 128gb variant. Can I upgrade 128gb ssd to 512gb ssd using Samsung M.2 EVO 960. As, I live in India , the Apple stores doesn’t have 512gb variant and I can get the 128gb for cheap upgrade to 512.

If it’s possible. Please help me through.

Yes you can. Just make sure you get the right one. Check THIS link out. I buy most of my aftermarket Apple supplied from them.

I don't think Apple uses the M.2 form factor, but instead a proprietary one, so you need a very specific drive like Rhinofart listed above to work, or a used one from another Mac.
