Solved! Power button glows for few seconds and then turns off

The screen remains black. I accidentally dropped it yesterday

Not much to do there, need to take it apart and see what is going on after a drop. Could be many things to cause it to not turn on after that. If you don't know much about laptops you will probably need to take it to a tech to look at, if it's older could be cheaper to just replace it.

It is from 2009; I hope we don't have to replace a computer with so many memories.
