Solved! Power button is broken

The power button will not open the laptop. But when I repeatedly insert the power supply plug and the press the power button at the same, sometimes it will open the laptop. do you guys have any idea what could have broke?

1. Unplug from charger.
2. Eject battery and wait at least 10 seconds. ...
3. (optional) Hold down power button for 20 seconds to discharge the computer.
4. Reinsert battery and plug in, and continue as normal.
5. Should work
