POwer-on password HP 550

Hello. I just got HP 550 laptop, but it has power-on password. Even if i hit enter 3 times i dont get any code just symbol like this *. I tryed removing RTC battery and i waited for like 2 hrs nothing password is still there. Holding power on button for 30+ seconds with no battery, nope. Im trying to find any CMOS, RTC reset contacts on motherboard but no luck. If any knows how to delete that password please help.

Sounds like a BIOS password. In which case you'll have to ask whomever sold it to you.
If they can't/won't help, contact the manufacturer.

use a password reset dist if you have one. or take it to customer support.
can't help you with password protection bypassing. it's against forum rules.
