Power on problem

hello, I tried to turn on my dell Inspiron e1505 laptop, and the power light came on for a millisecond and turned off. Please help!

More details would help. Have you tried anything to see if you can isolate the issue? Different batteries or chargers perhaps? Did anything happen to it recently?
