2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15" (approx)
3. What screen resolution do you want?
1440 x 900 or better. I care more about the gamut and quality of the screen than the number of pixels.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Worst of all, I need a portable desktop replacement
I travel alot so I have to haul this puppy everywhere.
5. How much battery life do you need?
I currently get 1:15 hrs, I'm shooting for 3hrs when used for Web browsing, writing.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No games
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
Massive amounts of photo editing, some software development work.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500 GB, 7200 RPM is the minimum. Ideally a manufacturer would have picked up Seagate's new hybrid drive already.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
2-3 yrs
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
