Printer Icon gone

What happened to my printer icon shortcut? It is on the file menu, but is gone from the "menu" and from the bar? This happened when Firefox updated.

Right click at the top of the screen, select customize (this opens all the icons and functions you can add), select the printer and drag it to the top. Now you are done.

That's the catch. In the customize you're talking about, the printer icon is missing. It was available before auto updating of Firefox.

Ok uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. Save time trouble shooting.

With the latest Firefox update, there have been printing issues. While I still have my printer icon, it simply hangs, and will not print. I had to switch back to Chrome.

I found it. Apparently the bookmarks toolbar has to be checked and then the icon comes back on and you can move it with customize.
