problem during boot

whenever i start my laptop a black “_” comes into my left corner for atleast 2 mins and then only my laptop starts. i dont know what is the problem.after that it works just fine. i just want to make my startup fast please help

its hp pavillion g6 1201 tx and yes i hv upgraded my os from 7 to 10 but even on win 7 it happens the same
