So recently my Acer Aspire 4738G which i had been using for about 2 years crashed in the middle of my game as if someone had pulled out the battery or the charger. So of course , i turned it on again and it went to the screen with the option of Launching Startup Repair or Start windows normally. I was reading the options and after about 3 seconds it powered off again. It keeps happening everytime i turn on my laptop , i am able to access the bios yet i am unable to boot into my desktop. Could someone help me?

I do not have much knowledge on laptops , so i do not think that post would help. Also i noticed that whenever it shuts off after being turned on , my hard drive makes a click
sound exactly as it shuts off

No i am not able to , the same thing happens , my laptop shuts off 3 seconds after booting , it shut off halfway while loading the windows files for safe mode , however it seems i am able to keep my computer running if i am in the bios

isnt that for linux?

you can repair windows ntfs partions chkdisk from linux live cd i.e knoppix or rescue cd. Why not try and take important docs backup to another drive.

i dont have another hard drive :/ i'v taken apart and cleaned the fan twice so i know that the fan is not the problem
