Solved! Problem with Audio splitter and Bluetooth headphones. Mic not working

So i have this bluetooth headset (Sony MDR-XB950B1 ) and I wanted to use as a gaming headseat. Since it only has one audio cable, i needed to buy an audio splitter (POSUGEAR Audio Y Splitter Adapter, 3.5mm ). I put the adapter in to the PC and The audio worked fine but the mic wasnt working. Note that the mic was working when i connected the headset via Bluetooth but the sound quality in games was bad. Thats the reason i wanted the adapter cable. So i can use the Headset while plugged in.
AnY insight on this problem would be very helpful.

If you are trying to go from a single jack to a dual jack mic/headphone setup you got the wrong thing. You need a 4 pole to 3 pole adapter not a 3 pole splitter.
