problem with rooting my phone

i got to step 8 and tapped the make it rain button and it said this phone is not supported and could go no further . what do i do now ? i still want to root my phone so i can install a spy program i ordered

i was using the towelroot method on my galaxy S5 . down loaded it to my phone and installed started going threw the staps and came to step 8 where it said to tap the make it rain button and thats where it stopped and said this phone is not supported yet . is it possible to root my galaxy S5 phone ?

Again, more info is needed.

What S5 model are you using? There are quite a few variants out there.

What Android version are you running? Not every version can be rooted.

Do you have an unlocked bootloader? If not, trying to root will probably brick your phone.


If using towelroot, you may have to edit the modstrings to get it working with your phone.
