Problem with Toshiba Satellite Pro 440CDX

It power on but does not boot.
HD is known good and I am unsure about video.
All three lights come on when powered on but no HD activity.
(nothing on display either).

Unit has good ram and battery.

Any thoughts?

Hi, I have a 440cdx, and the display looked wonky until I adjusted the contrast dial on the side of the screen.

Others have reported that adjusting the contrast dial on the side of the screen solves the blank display problem sometimes... Another thing to try is to unplug it from the wall, remove the battery and leave it sit for about an hour, then put everything back and power it up.
