Hello guys, i am desperate. My laptops ASUS k550l (http://www.itx.bg/en/asus-k550lnv-xx384d-15-6-intel-core-i7-mobile-processor-4510u-4-gb-ddr3-1-tb-hdd-nvidia-geforce-gt-840m.html ) NVIDIA Geforce 840M drivers experience the error (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)). I tried reinstalling them to the newest possible version (355.98). The laptop should work fine, but it responds really slowly and I think this may be because of the driver problems. I searched the net, and didn't seem to discover a solution. Any ideas ? I am running on Windows 7 Ultimate by the way.
Any ideas ? http://pho.to/9lSKz

Hi,

Please do try this troubleshooting steps that might help in resolving the issue.

- Uninstall the NVIDIA graphics card driver from Device Manager.
- Uninstall anything related to NVIDIA graphics as well in Programs and Features
- Download and install the latest driver from NVIDIA support site
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx (use auto detect and IE only)
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.

A few problems occured. http://pho.to/9ltrw . I followed step 1 and deleted NVIDIA graphics card driver from Device Manager. When prompted to reboot, rebooted. After i rebooted, the device started searching for drivers to install on itself(photo 1), i quickly turned off the internet and it stopped. Everything seems fine as usual, did step 2. Step 3, As you said, i went to the website, used auto-detect while using IE, and for some reason it cannot identify the needed drivers(photo 2). Any advice ?
