Hey, i have an Acer Predator laptop with a i7-6700 Processor. Is it possible to upgrade to a better CPU on this specific laptop with this processor? I was looking for a better I7

Thats unfortunate, cause i feel either this CPU is bottlenecking my GTX 1070 or something else is not working properly, cause i ve always had issues with FPS, but i did those common nvidia panel or battery solutions and it worked. But playing GTA online or FIVEM really gets me low fps and i cant figure out why. Even installed throttlestop to cool the laptop a bit.. Could it be the thermal paste?

While it is possible to change a BGA cpu, it's not feasible under most conditions and you aren't really going to get much if anything in that socket that's worth upgrading to from what you have.

While playing gta online cpu is at 70ºC and gpu at 50ºC

are you the intel Graphics 630 or the GeForce GTX 1070 to play gta? is FIVEM online or on the computer? how what type of internet connection are you using & what is the upload & download speeds of that connection?

been absent so couldnt reply to you. but i do have a 6700HQ . my pc is not like that one for some reason. it also has 32gb of ram not 16. Im pretty sure i use the gtx 1070 to play gta. fivem is installed on my pc. and my internet connection is 200mb/s average with wifi

what i dont understand is why i get such low fps and my brother with the same pc gets more fps than i do, but only on gta, could it be my thermal paste?
