[citation][nom]chess[/nom]I feel sorry for the Professor, he's gonna get a lawsuit coming his way[/citation]

forget the lawsuit...

his house and ALL his computers and papers will be raided by CIA!!!

2 weeks ago Toms has been praising iphone 4 and I've not seen anything about this "prediction" at that time anywhere? 😀 And it seems a major problem. Who blocked it? Apple? Or simply the stupidity?

[citation][nom]edilee[/nom]iPhone fail! I can't stop laughing. Didn't they test this crap before releasing it?[/citation]

I am a proud owner of many products, none of which are produced by Apple. 😱)

You're forgetting that this is Denmark. contrarily to the U.S., we actually have freedom of speech over here :)

Actually if you remember back to the first leaked iPhone 4 you will remember (besides a $5000 bounty and a pending law suit) that the test model was 'concealed' inside a fake iPhone 3g body?

No direct contact to the antenna, no interference...

Don't get me wrong the quality assurance department failed hard on this one, but considering all the secrecy I can see how it was overlooked/downplayed in field tests.

Like that cartoon of Mohammed?

I would love to know how they are going to fix this major hardware problem with a software patch. If you are shorting the signal to ground with your hand and body there is no signal to work with and all the software in the world wont change that!!! Ita a major design flaw thats NOT going away...the only way out is to insulate the antennas...like with the $29.00 bummper.

Why don't they just go back to the stubby little antenna on top like my LG clamshell phone has? I know exactly where not to touch. 🙂

Come on guys ! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the antenna, Apple told it's just a software problem. Once iTunes will have your iPhone's software updated to the good version (but for doing that, you'll need to re-install the Safari and Quicktime you just removed from your PC because it was so useless), you will always see 4 to 5 bars on the icon... also in underground parkings which have no coverage at all ;-)

Exactly like that. They burned our flags, they threatened our infrastructure and economy, and we replied by reprinting the cartoons. Not by lawsuits or running around scared, demanding rights to run around with firearms or other insane ideas like that.

What he said: We do what others talk about without all the fuzz. Just like we are in afgan down south taking losses on a level with the UK and US not like most other p***** nations.

Freedom of speech, sure. But are you proof against the Jobs ninja's? Sure, some attempt to deny their existence by saying no one has ever seen one. The rest of us know, its just that they are that good.

this jus came in:
iHand - The best accessory for holding the mighty-steve-built-and-awesome-blabla iPhone 4
I'm gonna get sued for this

[citation][nom]drutort[/nom]Does everyone really think they wouldnt have found this obvious issue in the prototypes? When they had these phones like in a bar and other places supposedly. Obviously they did RL tests to extent that it was lost/stolen IMO it was neglect/ignorance on apples part if anything else[/citation]
Remember that all of the prototypes were cunningly concealed inside cases to make the phone appear to be the regular 3G or 3Gs units. Such a case would have prevented the craptacular antenna's from being shorted.

I would imagine what went on in Apple before the release of the iphone 4:

Engineer: "Well, the design you crafted has major communication issues when in contact with human tissue."
Designer: "We don't have time to change the design. And futhermore, HE has already approved it. Is there any solution?"
Engineer: "Yes, we could add a rubber band around the phone."
Marketing rep: "Add? No way we're gonna give them something for free...We will sell it and called it iBand and tell them that it is their fault for it not working. They always fall for it anyway..."

People, you don't get it. Steve had to do it. Who would buy otherwise new iPhone 4.1 coming 2011 if iPhone 4 would be perfect? Just wait for new advertising after New Year.
