Program to get overview of computer parts

Hi!

I was just wondering, in shops they have these programs they use, where they type in a computer name & model number, and get a photo of it and parts - does it exist a similar program for Windows? That would be really useful! by the way, i have a Windows phone 8 Device (in case) there were something for it.

The easiest thing to do is to google the computer model number, which will take you to the manufacturer's webpage for that specific machine, including all the components.

Hmm, that's what i have been doing so far, but by experience i sometimes have to search a while before finding just the right information. But thanks for answer
