I feel like this tech has been "coming soon" as long as "the next big breakthrough in batteries" has been coming through.
Though it's a lot of storage, I was expecting something much higher than what an SD card can hold. Though, I guess the real story is about the longevity of the medium

On topic of the article though, it might be time to update the analogies for storage sizes. The number of TB's a drive can hold is relevant enough. Tossing in how many songs it can hold (at what bit rate, how long are the songs?). Relevant for an MP3 player, not so much for this.
Ditto for the number of movies, but at least still somewhat notable.
