Proscan PLT9650G & Bell TV app

I have the above tablet and am unable to get the Bell TV app from Google Play Store. It's just not there from the tablet. From another tablet, it's there. Therefore I can't download it to connect to my TV/Internet etc system to watch TV on the tablet. I hesitate to download more apps for experimentation, if I'm going to have to return it. Any suggestions?

Make sure the tablet you are using meets the requirements for running the app.

First review for Bell TV app says, "does not work on tablets".
Your Proscan has Android 5, and there is possibility that the app just does not support Lollipop.
Another possible reason: That Proscan is actually a "laptop", not "tablet", and this might prevent the app from passing "supported" requiremets.

I'm trying to gather more data related to the 2 answers. Thanks for both. The app does work on an Acer tablet so it doesn't seem accurate to say that it doesn't work on tablets. Also works on iPad.
