The only people I know that are buying the PSPgo are people who crave the latest gadgets. The PSPgo is going to be a huge failure. I don't know why Sony is going to make this. Also it looks like some user designed concept, hence the sliding screen like one of those new crappy sliding phones. Nintendo wouldn't put out something user submitted to their design team. Sony should just stick with the PSP3000 which already isn't that great. I'm hearing the PSP2000 is better and the PSP1000 is still good too.

So let me get this straight Sony's new PSP is simply the light version of it. But without the capabilities of playing the original's format the games came upon. I could understand if this was the PSP2 that would be acceptable but this is not.

What about new released will they only be limited to being downloaded or will they have a physical media still? If they don't I could imagine this going horribly wrong if most of the consumers don't accept this then sales of the PSP will plummet as well as game sales. Hurting both Sony and any developer who makes games for it. Developers will simply walk away from the PSP and Sony could be forced to abandon it soon after screwing all the consumers that bought it.

I am going to stick with my 2000.. I can still download games for it and use my existing library. I just hope the 32gig memory cards aren't outrageously expensive.. but I don't even think the Go would be comfortable for me to hold.. it looks too small for my hands.. either way.. I will not be upgrading.

Well I still have my PSP 1000 (yeah you read right, the Good Ol' Phat PSP) and this is the one I'm planning to continue with....
SCE you've counting days till your death...
I dunno why they do things like that...
