PWM Tool ERROR ?

I downloaded The PWM tool to adjust my screen to comfortable levels.. but i get this error (HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component .)
i searched the internet and i found fixes involving photoshop apps.. i don't have any..
any ideas!

I would contact app' developer with this error result. Check documentation, requirements etc - the error suggests the tool expects specific software configuration.
