My quality bar is in constant motion between about 60 and 90. Do
all dvb fta receivers perform like this?

Is Pansat 2500a, have no complaints, no artifacts, no dropouts,
good picture, just wondering if my receiver or lnbf is unstable
to the point, that I should consider this a warranty problem.

Polarization can cause this. Try peaking it.

Any tree branches in the dish's line of sight waving in the breeze?

Take care,
Rich

I have had that problem in the past, and for the most part it was either
a tree moving around out there or a loose mount. This past weekend I
had to hit a bird at 12.2 degrees of elevation, and the tree was about
300 feet away ... I would have never considered a tree so far away to be
a concern !
