I did a little research and found the y50 a good option. It has to have 860m or better and an i7 proccesor. 15" and full hd screen. It would be good to have a 7200rpm hdd, ssd or hybrid. Disscusion please
it depends where you're shopping from and what her budget is, but the y50 is fantastic anyway - it won't run BF4 and metro at max 1080p, but texture quality on high-medium with no AA and it will run smootly at 1080p.
its arguably the best bang for buck gaming laptop at the moment that comes prebuilt with all the trimmings.
go get her bro.
I think it would work far better with a 5,400 rpm hard disk. Most laptops do that. Would your hybrid stand still sometimes and only spin when it felt like it?
