Quiet speakers problem

Hello,

I've returned from my one week holidays, launched pc and realized that speakers are weird.. I mean they're really quiet.. so I plugged my speakers to my phone.. and it's the same, even on max volume they're just quiet. (Checked with usb too) Is that the end of'em?

What exact speakers? Do they have an external power supply, if yes is it switched on?

Is it switched on? I know when I go on holiday I switch off all electronics at home. If you didn't switch them back on they would be quiet as your only using the pc/phone Amp.
