Solved! Random on off

My 2008 Toshiba LCD Television Model HORV520 randomly turns on and off. We will be watching and it turns off and we can get it to turn back on. When we turn it off, it randomly turns back on.

10 yr old TV, most likely will be cheaper and easier to replace it than buy parts to fix it or have someone fix it. Most likely thing is that you need a new power or system board. But those don't always fix things.

Another option is a used TV, can get them for half the price often. I have seen 50" 4k sets for hundreds under store prices. I don't remember last time I bought new electronics outside of maybe something I could not find used or got with 0% interest that I can pay off over several years.
