Razer Kraken 7.1 "hissing" noise! (PLEASE HELP)

OK, I just purchased the Razer Kraken 7.1s and I noticed that there was a hissing noise in the background. The Krakens are completely usb and I have tried using all other ports on my pc and I even tried them on a different pc and the hissing noise was still there. If anyone has experience or knows how to fix this problem any of your help would be gratefully appreciated!

Hi, U can fix the problem real easy with the beeping sound by going to playback devices and right click on ur headset device and go to properties then go to advanced you will see Defualt formal and changed ur channel 2channel , 16bit , 48000hz (dvd quality) and the you won't hear the beep sound no more

When you are recording you can demove the 'hissing' sound afterwards with audacity if you want. Then you can at least produce decent quality video's if that's what you're up to. This is a short tutorial i found: https/www.youtube.com/watch?v=28uzZ3rl1hg

I had same problem, and the solution to me was to disable "Bass Boost" In Razer synapse.

Alright so here is what you can do on Windows 7. Go into the Control Panel and click on Hardware and Sound, then open the Sound tab. then go to Playback, find your Headset and open its properties, then go to Enhancements and find the option of "Low Frequency Protection" enable it and press the big "Apply" button at the bottom. Let me know if that works!
