Razer kraken mic got wet

I accidentally spit into my razer kraken microphone and now it's fuzzes and does not work. It is not pickup up my sound whatever and I need help getting it fixed.

Hello there.

Usually, the foam inside a microphone can get wet with spit. Have you let it dry for a few days already, or tried using a compressed air can to remove the spit? If it still "fuzzes", chances are it's simply wet and will work once dry.

No it's been about an hour and now my laptop will not even recognize it hopefully it works eventually if not I will not know what to do!

Not recognize...? I suggest you check your connections. ^^ Even if it's wet with spit, it should still be recognized.

But yeah, let it dry a few hours more, and it might get better. You can always use a hair dryer if you have one and dry it faster. But be VERY careful not to heat it up too much (warm, not hot!), and heat only the microphone tip.

I'm on a laptop and when I go to recording devices it says not plugged in FYI I'm using analog

I suggest you unplug and replug them later on, when they are dry. ^^ I

I plug my razor krakens into my Lenovo u31-70 laptop and it does not pick it up as a microphone please help!

and you have the razor driver loaded ? and went to your sound configuration to set is a default ?

I'm using the razor krakens pro with the 3.5 millimeter jack and I am not using the splitter

And when I go to recording it says microphone array is default and my krakens are not plugged in
