Razer Kraken USB headset not working suddenly

Hi guys,

I have had this headset (Razer Kraken USB) for about 2 years now, this morning it was working completely fine and now it's not. Everytime I plugged it into a USB port it would flash for a second and then not work at all. There is no open wires or anything like that, what could be wrong? (I'm using a Macbook air 2013 model by the way, just so I don't get any windows solutions).

Test it on another device if you can. The Razer Kraken (or Razer Crapken as I like to call it) has terrible build quality, so it is possible it's pretty much broken.

I have the same headset. Probably you have cord/plug damage. Do you often plug/unplug the headset? If yes that might be your problem. As Kagouras said: terrible build quality.

Another thing to look at is if you updated anything in the macbook, could be a usb driver issue (with Apple you never know).
