Razer stealth battery issues

So i got this Razer blade stealth that was water damaged and fixed it back to working order.
After everything booted; it worked.

Then i ran into a charging problem. so here is my issue. I can only get it to charge if i do these steps.
1- open the pc and disconnect the battery
2- plug in ac power
3- plug battery back in
4- boot pc.

And bam!
it charges,

But if i unplug it and plug it back in. nothing. Anyone have some tips?

Try a different battery. You said it was damaged, this could be just another side-effect of the damage.
