Razer Tiamat Audio and Mic Jack issue

I am thinking of getting the Razer Tiamat 2.2's and they seem to have 2 seperate audio and mic jacks when my laptop has a integrated jack. I was wondering if any old 3.5mm adapter with 2X 3.5mm to 1X 3.5mm work. Thanks
