z87-k is my motherboard and i just got this headphones.
ofc looking at the back of my pc, i dont have 5 audio ports.
orange, gray and black are missing.

what is the best solution other then buying a new motherboard.
also if buying new motherboard is a must - which one should i buy?

How about buy the 7.1 sound card for your tiamat. For the Z87/Z97, you can buy the used one from ebay, amazon, and also they will not handle the 7.1 well, or even did not support it.
