I am using the Logitech Z5300 system and I want to put my speakers on the wall. In this regards, I am planning to get some 16 gauge speaker wire (the wires comes in a pair – one for negative one for positive I reckon) for me to pull from the front wall to the back wall to reach my back speakers.

Since my speakers/system uses RCA connectors – I will connect the speaker wire to a RCA connectors (female and male respectively).

The question is: I heard that speakers have this negative and positive thing, so does it matter how I connect the wires to the RCA connectors? If it does, how then would I proceed?

If you said you're going to put the speaker on the wall are you going to disassemble the speakers itself or you're just going to hook it up to the wall with its feet? The positive on the RCA is the Tip (Center) portion of the terminal the Ring (Outer) is the negative.

If you disassemble the speakers then just follow the wire connection as it will show from the speaker terminal itself.
