One way around the NAT issue is making the PPC the DMZ host. This
works for me on my DLink 714P wireless router. This feature is found
on most firewall/routers, and allows you to expose one computer on
your inside network to the Internet unfiltered. You will also need to
use a static IP address or MAC-DHCP mapping to ensure the PPC gets the
same IP address each time.

I tried using special application port configuration using the
information on the real networks web site, but this did not work.
Apparently the PPC player uses different ports.

Unfortunately, not only doesn't the D-Link DVG-1120M allow for
forwarding of port ranges, it also doesn't have DMZ... Hopefully
they'll update that eventually.

The ranges that the PPC player uses are within the PC RealPlayer 10
ranges listed on the website. Using a packet sniffer, it seems that
the PPC seems to normally use ports which are much higher than the
ports than the PC uses, though.
