Realtek HD Audio Manager not working

Hi everyone,
I bought a new laptop recently which came with Realtek HD Audio Manager. As much as I don't really like it, it's been working OK. Now, when I boot up my computer, it recognizes my headphones, but no sound comes out from anywhere (default speakers work fine). I tried doing a system restore to when it was working AND reinstalled the audio drivers but neither idea worked. Anyone have any ideas? I'd be fine with just uninstalling Realtek entirely and using some other program, but I'd rather not screw up my laptop permanently

Alright, looks like I fixed it by rolling back the audio driver. I don't know how or why that fixed the problem, and I don't really care!
