Receiver 8ohm to 6 ohm speaker

I had a Pioneer receiver 110X5 8 ohm but my 5.1 speaker only 6 ohm,can I still hookup ? Thanks

In the vast majority of cases.....yes.

If the specs on the particular Pioneer have a 6ohm power rating then you can.
If the specs say use only 8 ohms or higher then you are taking a big chance.
It could work.
It could shut the receiver down.
It could blow the receiver up.
