Solved! Recover a toshiba laptop 2004 without disk

Hello,
I can not get my toshiba laptop to boot up. The screen wors b/c it does normal until i have to enter my password then the screen goes blank. any idea what I can do to fix it?

Try getting into safe mode and running a malware/virus scan to see if anything is found. If that isn't an option, try holding down 0 (zero) before turning it on and then power it on while still holding 0 down to get to the menu where it will get you into the recovery console.
