Question Recover data from Lenovo tablet with boot error (possible corrupt O/S)

The M10 Lenovo tablet won't load the Android O/S, and it seems factory reset is our only option left. None of the data files are backed up, so we are trying to find a solution that will NOT require a factory reset. Our PC can see the tablet as another drive via USB cable, but says the drive is empty. I tried a few options on the Recovery menu (cleared cache), but no luck so far. Also tried various Android recovery programs on our desktop PC, but they can't see the Lenovo.

I don't think so, but Android is not in my area of expertise, so I can't be sure.

Try to get firmware of tablet on XDA Developers and try refresh it without wiping data
