Hi could use some advice, I put the 500 gb hard drive from my old broken laptop into an external enclosure to use with a working Win 10 laptop.. I would like to recover some photos that are on the drive. When I connect the drive to the laptop it is not showing in Windows Explorer.
When I run Disk Management I can see the drive shown as Disk 1 which has 2 Healthy (Primary Partitions) but the drive is not assigned a drive letter.
The option to assign a drive letter is grayed out, the only option available is something like delete or format the drive. Is there any way to open the drive, just to recover the photos?
Regards, Ron
